Job summary

Mr. Handyman is seeking a skilled handyman to perform maintenance and repair tasks for homes and small businesses. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general tasks, while communicating clearly with customers and managing expectations about costs and timelines.

You must live in the area, have 5+ years of paid handyman experience, own your own tools, and be able to drive a company vehicle with insurance. A professional appearance and adherence to safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• Live within the area.
• 5+ years’ experience as a paid handyman.
• Own your own general tools (Tools provided for specialty items).
• Be insurable for driving the company vehicle.
• Complete a background check and driving record review.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work safely at heights for extended periods.
• Present a professional appearance and maintain a company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects (2 hours to multi-day jobs).
• Communicate with customers to explain needs, scope, and costs.
• Build life-long relationships by delivering a great service experience.
• Follow the Mr. Handyman process to wow the customer every time.
