Job summary

CANES CONSTRUCTION LLC is looking for a Handyman Maintenance Technician to maintain rental properties in the Kansas City area. The ideal candidate should have previous maintenance experience, be familiar with hand-held tools, and possess general knowledge of home repair. Responsibilities include repairing issues, completing work orders, and using an app for communication. This role requires a strong attention to detail, physical ability for daily tasks, and owning a truck and tools. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.
• General knowledge of home repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion.
• Work within an app to upload pictures and notes.
• Travel within a designated work zone (usually within 25 miles).
• Maintain a clean and safe work space.

Skills

Previous experience in maintenance or related fields

Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment

General knowledge of home repair and maintenance

Ability to make decisions and communicate

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to use an app for notes and pictures
