Job summary

Mr. Handyman of Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield is seeking a well‑rounded handyman with significant drywall experience plus carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and flooring skills built over a 5+ year career.

You’ll work on home and commercial projects, run your own jobs, enjoy a company‑supplied van with gas card, iPad and ServiceTitan access, flexible hours, and a strong support team. Compensation ranges $35–$45 per hour with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant drywall experience plus carpentry, electrical, plumbing and flooring skills gained over 5+ years.
• Ability to manage own projects and work independently while delivering quality work.
• Excellent customer service, documentation, and ability to collect payments.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, ranging from two hours to two days.
• Make recommendations and manage customer expectations about scope and cost.
• Create life-long customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way process.

Your Responsibilities As a Handyman Professional

• Complete Maintenance & Repairs – You’ll take care of small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. The projects can range from two hours to two days.
• Make Recommendations and Manage Customer Expectations – You’ll help customers understand the scope of the work, its costs and what it takes to finish the project.
• Create Life-Long Customers – You’ll deliver a great experience, using Mr. Handyman Way’s repeatable process to wow the customer every time.

• You need to manage your own projects as you’ll often work alone.
• You need to provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews, collecting payments and ensuring the property is left in good shape.
