Mr. Handyman of E. Nashville & Hendersonville is hiring a Handyman Helper / Apprentice to assist our experienced technicians on larger projects and learn the handyman trade.

The position offers hands-on training with growth toward a full-service technician role and long-term career opportunities with a locally owned company. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, comfortable using hand and power tools, and capable of working indoors and outdoors while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to arrive on time daily.
• Motivated to learn a skilled trade and grow within the company.
• Comfortable working with hands and following instructions.

• Able to work independently after training.
• Comfortable indoors and outdoors and using basic tools.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with larger home repair, remodeling, and maintenance projects.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials.
• Prepare job sites and protect customers' homes before work begins.
• Complete demolition, cleanup, material handling, and project-support tasks.
• Perform smaller repairs and maintenance tasks independently as skills develop.
• Learn proper repair and installation methods from experienced technicians.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Keep work areas, tools, and company vehicles clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Take on greater responsibility as knowledge and abilities improve.
