Job summary

GlobalProcure is hiring a skilled Handyman to provide maintenance and repair services for residential properties in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and a wide range of handyman skills.

This full-time position offers a salary of $1100 per month with working hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Preference will be given to candidates fluent in English with previous USA experience.

• Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing outlets and light switches.
• Repair or replace damaged drywall, fix doors and windows and install fixtures.
• Paint interior and exterior walls as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain the overall appearance of properties by completing landscaping tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Handyman or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of various handyman skills including painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, etc.
• Ability to use hand‑held power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions

This is a full‑time position with working hours from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. The job may occasionally require working on weekends or evenings depending on client needs. The role may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. The candidate must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary

The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Preference

Preference will be given to candidates from Pakistan or Nepal who are fluent in English and have previous experience working as a Handyman in the USA. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.
