Job summary

Einsidler Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled handyman to join our full-time union shop and support superintendent duties.

The ideal candidate will perform routine property maintenance, handle emergencies, and work with building management and porters to address needs. Responsibilities include inspecting property daily, responding to work orders, reviewing renovation requests, maintaining tools and safety, reporting repairs and hazards promptly, and coordinating with shareholders and the

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is preferred for daily work orders.
• Strong communication with shareholders and Board.
• Knowledge of boiler systems, gas boilers, roofs, windows helpful.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance.
• Handle emergencies and after-hours building issues.
• Snow equipment operation.
• Daily inspection of the property.
• Respond to work orders from shareholders.
• Review apartment renovation requests.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

Seeking Skilled Handyman

Position: Full-Time Union Shop - Handyman to Superintendent

Reviewing apartment renovation requests

Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition

Working closely with building management and porters to address property needs

Report repairs, safety hazards, and code violations promptly

Knowledge of all building equipment, gas boilers, roofs and windows

Certifications for boilers, fire systems

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general repairs, boiler systems, pumps/motors

Ability to supervise staff and handle daily work orders

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills with both shareholders and Board

Good record keeping for property maintenance needed
