D & D Construction LLC is looking for a skilled Handyman to perform residential and light commercial maintenance tasks, including pipe fitting, insulating, welding, repairing equipment, buildings, floors, or stairs, and installing new components.

You are hardworking, a team player, and dedicated to delivering quality work. Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as handyman/general maintenance is required.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proven ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly.
• Skills in carpentry and basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose issues.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts using hand/power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, motors, belts, and filters.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals.
• Repair machines or structures with appropriate tools and equipment.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Handyman to join our team! In this role, you will perform residential and light commercial maintenance work that may include pipe fitting, insulating, welding, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, repairing buildings, floors, or stairs, and installing new equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
• Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a handyman / general maintenance
• Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
• Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be qualified to perform at heights above thirty (30) feet with the use of a ladder, lift, or bucket truck boom
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a consistent basis
