Job description

Assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties, such as keeping a worker supplied with materials and tools; cleaning working area, machine, and equipment; assisting journeyman by holding materials or tools; and performing other unskilled tasks as directed by journeyman. Perform a variety of duties of a physical nature relating to naval base facility habitability repair, modification and alteration projects.

• 1 years of general experience assisting one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill.

• High school/vocational diploma or GED certificate.

• Be able to lift and move 50 pounds and be physically agile to perform manual tasks

• Must be able to secure security access.

• Must have a valid Driver's License
