Mr. Handyman of Greater Peoria is hiring a well-rounded Handyman Service Professional for full-time local work in Greater Peoria, Illinois. Dispatch and office work are handled for you, with a weekday-focused schedule and consistent, local opportunities.

Expect to perform general interior/exterior repairs for residential and light commercial clients, diagnose issues, and provide estimates. You will document work on an iPad and maintain a clean, safe jobsite using your own tools.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of hands-on residential maintenance and repair (light commercial a plus).
• Solid mix of drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, and basic carpentry.
• Comfortable writing and presenting estimates in the home.
• Your own handyman tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Comfortable with mobile job documentation.

Responsibilities

• Painting (interior and exterior).
• Light plumbing repairs and fixture installs.
• Basic electrical: ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, and switches.

• Caulking, furniture assembly, TV mounting, and punch-list maintenance.
• Diagnose the issue, give the client a clear estimate, and finish the job efficiently.
• Document the job on an iPad / mobile device and keep the site clean and safe.

Mr. Handyman of Greater Peoria is hiring a well-rounded Handyman Service Professional.

This is for the experienced all-around repair person who is done with 1099 life—finding leads, juggling the calendar, buying materials on your own dime, and chasing payment. We keep you on local Greater Peoria jobs. We handle the office work.

Pay Weekly gross typically $800–$1,200+ depending on experience and performance. Consistent local work, not a long-haul route.
