Job summary

A leading renewable energy firm in New York is seeking a Warehouse & Production Manager to oversee warehouse and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will manage order picking, supervise staff, and maintain inventory records. Key qualifications include leadership experience, forklift certification, and mechanical skills. Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising or managing teams, preferably in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Comfortable performing operational tasks alongside the team.
• Valid certification and experience with forklift operations.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping documentation.
• Experience building crates, packaging, and handling large‑scale products is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain accurate stock.
• Able to lift and move heavy items, work in varying conditions, and remain on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in order picking, crate building, loading/unloading trucks, and managing inventory.
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and assembly staff to maintain efficiency and morale.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory records in company systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Construct and prepare shipping crates for large items to ensure product safety.
• Collaborate with sales, administration, and purchasing teams to meet order fulfillment deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment; manage facility and equipment maintenance.
