Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse team member to support storage and shipping of raw materials and finished products, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

In this role you will sort, stack, stock, inspect, and assist with orders; operate cranes and forklifts; support machine operators; and maintain equipment on the warehouse floor while adhering to health, safety, and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
