Job summary

American Leak Detection, Inc. in Carrollton, TX is seeking a dependable Warehouse & Equipment Assembly Associate to support our field operations. This hands-on role blends warehouse tasks, mechanical assembly, inventory control, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and data entry with computer systems.

You will build hoses, Test Balls and LeakVue equipment, follow assembly instructions, test assemblies, and keep the warehouse organized for efficient field use.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or similar work experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work comfortably with tools.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Good organizational and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble equipment and components used in the field.
• Assemble hoses, Test Balls, LeakVues, AquaSnoop equipment, and other products.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools.
• Follow assembly instructions and procedures.
• Test completed assemblies and identify problems.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Ensure equipment is properly assembled, tested, labeled, and ready for field use.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials and products.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Ship equipment and materials to American Leak Detection locations and field personnel.
• Organize warehouse materials and maintain an orderly work area.
• Track parts and components used in equipment builds.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory.
• Assist with ordering and replenishing inventory.
• Enter purchase orders and purchasing information.
• Process receiving and shipping information.
• Enter and maintain inventory data.
• Assist with ordering materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Post completed build assemblies in the company's computer system.
• Track materials and components used in completed assemblies.
• Learn and use company software and computer systems.
