Qualifications

• Must provide proof of professional liability insurance.
• Priority scheduling for students in clinical years on official externship blocks.
• SAVMA members qualify for no-cost insurance.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in cases and further development towards becoming a veterinarian.
• Included in surgical cases, dental procedures, emergencies, and routine medical appointments.
