Job summary

Sharpe Engineering is seeking a mechanically minded candidate to join the workshop floor as a permanent member of the team.

The role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and focuses on assisting tradespersons to ensure efficient and accurate workshop operations.

Qualifications

• LF forklift licence required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday 6.00 am – 2.30 pm

Responsibilities

• Loading, operating and monitoring machines, tools and equipment.
• Carrying out bandsaw cutting, phosphating, pipe buffing, pipe stencilling, doping and capping pipe.
• General cleaning duties in the workshop.
