Job summary

Enercon Technologies in Gray, ME is seeking a Test Development Engineering Intern for Jan–Aug 2027 to assist engineers in designing, developing, documenting, and testing fixtures and processes for electronic products.

You will gain hands-on experience assembling test fixtures, developing circuitry and scripts, troubleshooting equipment, and creating protocols and reports as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Declared engineering major with at least 2 years of coursework completed.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Internship role focuses on test development and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and modifying electrical and electromechanical test fixtures.
• Assist in developing basic test fixture circuitry, wiring, and software or scripts.
• Assist in troubleshooting test fixtures, equipment, and electronic assemblies.
• Create test protocols, instructions, and summary reports.
• Support data collection and analysis for engineering and manufacturing activities.
• Support design verification and manufacturing test activities as directed.
• Perform other engineering tasks as directed by management.
