Job summary

Trinity Solar is seeking an Installation Crew Leader to oversee residential solar system installations. This hands-on, field-based role combines on-the-job installation with crew leadership to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will guide the crew, address on-site challenges, and maintain documentation while communicating with customers and internal teams. This role leads by example and emphasizes high workmanship and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of solar installation, electrical, or related construction experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with safety focus and problem-solving skills.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the installation of residential solar modules, racking, and equipment per NEC codes and safety standards.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, direction, and technical expertise to the installation crew.
• Ensure thorough documentation of each installation, including photos and diagrams.
• Submit required installation documentation and materials in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly with customers, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the project.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite reflecting company professionalism.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles per policies and procedures.
• Support additional installation responsibilities and duties as assigned.
