Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is offering an AYF Service Intern position in Sunnyside, WA. You will shadow skilled technicians to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service real equipment—gaining hands-on experience beyond the classroom.

You will document machine details on service orders, maintain an organized workspace, and learn while using diagnostic software and mechanical tools. Eligibility requires enrollment in a relevant program with a 3.0 GPA and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and solid attendance.
• Gain experience using mechanical tools while learning on the job.
• Strong computer skills and a passion for customer service.
• Clear written and verbal communication; organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service real equipment alongside a mentor.
• Document machine details and repair work on service orders, including parts and fluids used.
