Job summary

Seedway, LLC in Hall, NY is seeking a hands-on Seed Production Assistant to support seed packaging and production processes. You will help maintain safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor while handling measurements and operating packaging equipment.

This role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus, health and safety–focused environment, and a dynamic team. Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects, work around dust and chemicals, and operate forklifts safely in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math for measurements and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Fill seed into packaging according to specs.
• Operate forklift to move materials safely.
• Handle chemicals and materials following safety rules.
• Operate bagging unit and robotic equipment.
• Make decisions on seed and packaging processes.
• Perform basic measurements and quantity calculations.
• Climb ladders and grain legs when needed.
• Lift heavy objects as required in production.
• Work in a dusty environment with proper safety gear.
• Use computer systems to track production.
