Job summary

Twin Disc’s Racine, Wisconsin R&D team seeks an Engineering Technician to support testing, validation, and development of drivetrain and power transmission products. You will work with engineers to instrument prototypes, set up test stands, and analyze results to drive concept-to-reality outcomes.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, calibrating data systems, and maintaining lab resources while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Mechanical aptitude for transmissions, hydraulic systems, engines, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and test procedures.
• Strong organizational and self-management skills; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, conduct, and document capability, performance, and durability testing.
• Prepare products by installing sensors and instrumentation for testing.
• Configure/test stands, hydraulic systems, pumps, and related equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and monitor data acquisition systems for data collection.
• Ensure testing safety and adherence to specifications; document results.
