Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Las Cruces, NM is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Physical Therapy Technician. You will assist licensed therapists in delivering compassionate outpatient care and help maintain a clean, safe clinic environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Prior healthcare or customer service experience is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR Certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, fitness, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Completion of Health Occupations coursework is a plus.
• Interest in pursuing a healthcare-related degree or career path is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapist Assistants with patient care activities following training and competency validation.
• Support patient intake processes and authorized documentation activities.
• Monitor and report delegated treatment activities to the supervising therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient visits.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety and infection control standards.
• Assist with inventory, maintenance, and routine operational tasks.
• Adhere to HIPAA, compliance, safety, and company policies.
• Participate in mandatory training and continuing education requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of training and applicable regulations.
