Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Project Engineer in Torrance, CA, for a contract position. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent relevant hands-on experience.
• Basic understanding of ESD and clean room requirements per ISO standards.
• Familiarity with basic shop fabrication and assembly tools.
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Knowledge or experience in product prototype or high-volume production builds.

Responsibilities

• Manage build configuration for Electric Power Electronics Conversion products.
• Advise management on work progress and production issues.
• Review BOM and manage parts through product life cycle.
• Capture build issues in JIRA and resolve with DREs.
• Train technicians on assembly instructions.
