Job summary

Jobot is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Greater St. Louis area to identify an experienced Production Supervisor to join their expanding team.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on daily operations, developing and supporting production staff, improving processes, and helping drive the company's continued growth. The successful candidate will oversee staffing, schedules, equipment, and workflows to meet production goals, ensure quality and compliance, and uphold GMPs,

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production operations and ensure personnel, equipment, and resources are utilized effectively.
• Provide leadership and direction to production team members while maintaining a productive, accountable work environment.
• Organize staffing, production schedules, equipment assignments, and workflow to meet operational demands.
• Onboard, train, mentor, and develop employees to strengthen performance, safety, quality, and technical capabilities.
• Track employee attendance, overtime, staffing needs, and equipment performance while following established company guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, employee concerns, and customer or product-related problems in a timely manner.
• Maintain production standards by ensuring processes and finished products meet established quality and compliance requirements.
• Enforce applicable manufacturing programs and procedures, including GMPs, allergen controls, product hold/release processes, food safety, and facility security.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs of production areas and equipment to identify potential safety, maintenance, quality, or regulatory concerns.
• Lead by example and carry out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies, OSHA standards, and applicable employment and workplace regulations.
