Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Hazel Park, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. You will operate basic machinery in line with SOPs, load and unload materials, monitor operations, and report issues to the supervisor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to work 8–12 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in a team environment. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, and ERP skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills and computer skills including ERP systems.
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Loads and unloads materials into machinery.
• Monitors machine operations and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Performs routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Adheres to all safety and company policies.
• Assists in troubleshooting machine issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
