Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise software with deep expertise in Java and distributed systems.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale cloud-native applications while remaining an active software developer.
• Expertise designing microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and highly scalable backend platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and modern cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, databases, performance optimization, and application resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build modern cloud-native applications that power Oracle Health's EHR platform.
• Lead the design of scalable microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and modern user experiences.
• Remain hands-on throughout the development lifecycle, writing production code, reviewing designs, and solving complex technical problems with the team.
• Drive architectural strategy with Product, UX, Engineering, and TPM to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.
• Build modern full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies.
• Design highly available, resilient, and secure systems that operate at enterprise scale.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into healthcare workflows to improve provider productivity and patient care.
• Mentor engineers and foster engineering excellence through reviews and leadership.
• Champion CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
