Job summary

National Carwash Solutions, INC. is seeking a dedicated Powdercoat Apprentice in Sheridan, WY to support the powder coat department and ensure high-quality parts for customers.

You will prepare parts, apply powder coat, and help maintain coating standards in a fast-paced shop environment. You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a strong background in powder coating, and solid math and instruction-following skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in powder coating.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the application of powder coating.
• Mathematical skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and products for coating
• Safely operate and handle equipment to apply powder coat onto various parts and products
• Follow powder coating application practices
• Deciphering tags to ensure that accurate parts and colors are being used
• Bake parts and products at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
• Pulling racks out of ovens when cure temperature is met
• Transporting the racks within the Powder Coat Department to facilitate out-gassing of components, powder application, and cure
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
