Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Active Michigan Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience or strong interest in manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and patient assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams.
• Ability to manage a patient caseload efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting.
• APTA membership and manual therapy certifications (e.g., OCS, FAAOMPT) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Administer manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movement training.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
