Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science. Positions are temporary, part-time, and filled each semester as needed to support student learning and course delivery.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, developing syllabi, maintaining attendance and grading records, and assisting students outside class time.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to create learning environments and assess student learning.
• Provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught and follow curriculum requirements.
• Meet all scheduled classes and maintain attendance and grading records as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes and facilitate student learning.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time for questions and assistance.
• Use Ivy Learn, PowerPoint, and other technology as appropriate.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in related field

Two years of directly related work experience

Five years of directly related work experience (alternative route)

Three years of directly related work experience (alternative route)
