Vein360 in Ohio is seeking a driven R&D Engineering Co-op to support the development, testing, and improvement of medical device reprocessing solutions. The role offers hands-on experience in prototyping, data analysis, and design verification within a fast-paced, small team.

You will collaborate across regulatory, quality, and operations teams to meet milestones, document development processes, and propose design or workflow improvements, gaining real-world exposure to medical device

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS/MS in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical or Chemical Eng.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and product design.
• Hands-on with lab equipment and materials testing.
• Strong problem-solving and engineering principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, prototyping, and testing of new medical device reprocessing solutions.
• Support the team with data analysis and interpretation of testing results.
• Participate in design verification and validation activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct material testing, process optimization, and other hands-on engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with regulatory, quality, and operations to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Assist with documentation of development processes, testing protocols, and results.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in product design or workflows based on findings.
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to medical devices.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline existing processes.
