Job summary

Metric Bio is seeking a hands-on Medical Device Assembler to join its engineering team. The role focuses on assembling prototypes and production-equivalent units, preparing samples, and supporting bench testing from engineering drawings and instructions.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools and measurement equipment, and familiarity with regulated documentation practices including ISO 13485 or FDA QSR contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling devices or in a laboratory testing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Experience documenting work in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototypes and production-equivalent test units.
• Prepare samples, build test fixtures and support bench testing.
• Document test results, equipment activity and non-conformances.
