Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to own the modular product’s mechanical systems on the Phoenix line, overseeing cooling, piping, and airflow from release drawings to rate production.

You will walk the manufacturing floor daily, identify issues at the station, and disposition them on the spot. Responsibilities include first-article reviews, in-person tests, and driving design improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical systems design for complex products.
• Experience on shop floor with production line exposure.
• Ability to drive DFMs and design-for-manufacture improvements.
• Strong collaboration with design and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical systems for the modular product on the line, cooling, piping, and airflow.
• Walk the Phoenix manufacturing floor daily to catch issues and disposition them on the spot.
• Run first-article reviews, fit checks, and pressure tests in person as units come down the line.
• Answer RFIs on the floor and engineer fixes into the next revision.
• Close the loop to design by feeding line learnings back into drawings and tolerances.
