Job summary

Belt Power is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support equipment, tooling, products, and manufacturing processes. You will lead projects from design through installation and collaborate with engineering, production, sales, and vendor partners.

You’ll work with PLC-controlled machinery, contribute to process improvement, quality, safety, and operational efficiency while turning concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D modeling and drawing generation software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and verify measurements.
• Strong organization and project coordination skills.
• Hands-on approach to turning design concepts into working solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design production equipment, processes, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead projects from concept through installation.
• Create 3D models, drawings, specs, and docs.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify root causes.
• Implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
• Train operators and prepare clear instructions.
• Follow safety requirements and PPE.
