Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Support Operator in a manufacturing facility. You will prepare materials for production, operate diverse equipment, and contribute to quality parts across shifts.

The role requires basic blueprint literacy, math skills, and clear English communication. You will work with various machines, perform deburring, painting, and routine inspections, and support shipping as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; entry-level with 0–1 year manufacturing experience.
• Basic reading of blueprints and work instructions is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort operating and learning to run various production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assembles parts using various tools as instructed by illustrated work instructions.
• Loads parts onto appropriate size mandrels for packing and shipping.
• Cleans and deburs parts as needed to ensure quality products.
• Operates production equipment including lathes, CNCs, presses, lip former, vibro machine, injection molder and pelletizer.
• Fills and paints parts using chemical applications such as silicone and related substances.
• Conducts quality inspection of completed and re-worked parts.
• Assists shipping with labeling and packing as needed.
• Performs minor machine set-ups and cross-trains in other areas.
