Job summary

Engineered Systems will welcome a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our Asheville-area team, where you’ll assist experienced technicians with routine maintenance and learn troubleshooting techniques for crane systems.

You will perform inspections, document repairs, and participate in safety training, helping you grow technical skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment within a company with 50 years of success.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push/pull 50lbs routinely and work in different environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with routine maintenance tasks.
• Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various crane systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
• Attend training sessions to further develop technical skills.
