Winland Foods seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Elk Grove Village, IL, to lead the 2nd shift maintenance team and oversee 3rd shift priorities. The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, CMMS utilization, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

The position offers a full-time schedule 8:00am-5:30pm Mon-Fri with Saturday hours rotating. Salary ranges $73,000–$108,900 with bonus potential, plus comprehensive benefits. Experience in food manufacturing maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum supervising day-to-day preventive and predictive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Five years plant maintenance experience; food industry experience preferred.
• Vendor and contractor relations experience helpful.
• Associate degree in a technical area and/or completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent time in Maintenance field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on supervising on 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance teams.
• Set work priorities for technicians and supervise the team.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, USDA and local regs.
• Manage planned and predictive maintenance procedures and analyze historical data.
• Ensure availability of materials and tools for planned tasks in collaboration with planners and managers.
• Train maintenance personnel in CMMS reporting and maintenance management.
• Drive and improve CMMS workflow and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist manager in contractor qualification and performance for 3rd shift projects.
• Provide weekend maintenance coverage as needed.
