You will work in a collaborative team, follow PPE guidelines, assist in repairs, and participate in inspections to ensure equipment integrity, with duties across the facility as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to understand simple instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to complete simple forms and interpret basic written instructions.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Practices safe work habits; works well in a team environment.
• Adheres to PPE guidelines and understands safety equipment.
• Knows basic mechanical processes and equipment function principles.
• Conducts equipment inspections for proper operation and mechanical integrity.
• Assists in repair and maintenance of machines and facilities as required.
• Documents production information on tally sheets and makes basic entries into the computer.
• Understands basic mathematical principles and measurement (length, diameter, weights, counts).
• Assumes duties of other operators and assists in other areas when needed.
