Responsibilities

• Perform tensile testing, mechanical pull testing and other materials evaluations.
• Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Prepare, handle, and dispose of chemical reagents following proper lab techniques.
• Support X-ray related laboratory work (training provided).
• Operate lab/shop equipment including band saws, routers, and mills.
• Accurately analyze test data and enter results into lab databases.
• Maintain testing information within internal quality systems and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic calibrations and escalate issues as needed.
