Job summary

Google is seeking a Hardware Engineering Intern for the Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team to help design and build hardware and software technologies powering Google's services. This role emphasizes hardware design, board bring-up, signal integrity, and FPGA work in a fast-paced lab environment.

The internship is available at multiple locations in the US, including potential work from Playa Vista, CA. The program requires residing in the United States and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time.
• Penultimate year or returning to degree after internship completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist hardware design and bring-up of systems and boards.
• Support validation, testing, and debugging of hardware components.
