Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Firmware Engineer Intern for a hybrid role with an expectation to work about 2 days per week from a HPE office in the United States. The position focuses on firmware design, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

As an intern, you are working toward a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/EE and will gain hands-on experience with firmware, EFI/BIOS, and related hardware concepts in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/EE or equivalent.
• Knowledge of firmware design tools and languages.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Codes and updates firmware for DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers and BIOS/UEFI.
• Executes test plans, logs issues, and debugs code.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners on firmware development.
• Contributes as a firmware engineering team member on low to moderately complex projects.
