Job summary

DesignTek Consulting Group, a premier design-build engineering contracting firm, seeks a Field Superintendent and Foreman to lead field crews in Utah. • 5+ years of proven experience leading field crews as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Deep, practical knowledge of structural steel framing and finished carpentry techniques.
• Strong command of jobsite safety and tool operations.
• Preferred experience in controlled environments or cleanrooms is a plus, but not required.

Job description

We are an established, premier design-build engineering contracting firm. Our team delivers high-performance, specialty industrial projects, with a core focus on complex, high-precision controlled environments and cleanroom facilities.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated Field Superintendent and Foreman who is a master of their craft and an effective leader of people in our SLC office. This is a dual functioning leadership and installation position. We are looking for an individual with an elite background in structural steel framing and immaculate finished carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Crew leadership: Directs, motivates and manages daily tasks for field labor crew and specialty sub-contractors to ensure milestones are met.
• Safely operates advanced commercial power tools to execute framing, high-end finished carpentry, and specialty architectural elements.
• Interpret design-build blueprints and ensures the proper filed installation of materials, including specialty industrial or cleanroom components.
• Hands on cleanroom architectural components installation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience running field crews as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Deep, practical knowledge of structural steel framing and finished carpentry techniques.
• A strong, authoritative command of jobsite safety and tool operations.
• Preferred Asset: Prior experience working in controlled environments, modular wall systems, or specialty cleanroom installation is a major plus, but not required.
