Job summary

Krause Auto Group – Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to own the maintenance, cleanliness, appearance, and day-to-day condition of our BMW of Myrtle Beach and Mercedes-Benz of Myrtle Beach facilities.

This is a working role, not a desk job. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, proactive, and capable of coordinating routine repairs, cleaning, and vendor work to keep our dealerships presenting a first-class experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and repair skills are required.
• Ability to detect problems and address them independently.
• Experience with facility cleaning and basic trades.
• Experience in coordinating external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of dealership facilities.
• Complete light painting, drywall repair, caulking, and touch-up work.
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and minor leaks.
• Perform basic electrical repairs within licensing requirements.
• Replace lights, ceiling tiles, filters, and fixtures.
• Repair doors, cabinets, furniture, shelving, hardware.
• Identify potential problems before they become larger repairs.
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendor estimates.
• Inspect completed repairs and ensure resolution.
• Maintain dealership cleanliness throughout the business day.
• Inspect and clean restrooms hourly.
• Keep service drives clean and shop floors.
• Coordinate periodic deep cleaning.
• Ensure safe and organized service areas.
• Move or assemble furniture and assist with event setup.
