NetBox Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering squads. You will stay hands-on, review designs, and guide developers while shipping high-quality software for NetBox, add-ons, and observability tools.

You will drive sprint planning, manage timelines, and ensure secure practices. Collaboration with product managers and open-source contributors is central to success. Equal opportunity employer with a strong community focus.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead.
• Proven ability to drive projects to completion on tight timelines.
• Strong technical background to review designs and code.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication, especially in remote/async environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a squad of engineers day-to-day while staying hands-on: review code and design discussions.
• Drive execution with clear sprint goals and unblock blockers.
• Own the software development lifecycle for your team’s projects from planning to release.
• Run sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros using GitHub and internal tools.
• Champion secure software development practices and maintain high quality without slowing the team.
• Partner with product managers to translate problems into shippable plans.
• Coach and mentor engineers and build a bench for future hiring.
• Foster ownership, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Act as liaison with the broader tech community and open-source contributors.
