Job summary

Teledyne ETM in Newark, CA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build high-energy x-ray products used in cargo and vehicle inspections for the global security market. You will assemble electronic components, wire harnesses and sub-assemblies following detailed instructions, ensuring safety and quality.

Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work with engineers and production teams.

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented and able to follow detailed instructions.
Strong communication skills to work with engineers and production teams.
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components, wire harnesses, sub-assemblies and large systems.
Route and secure wires and wire bundles of various sizes.
Assemble and install plumbing components and hoses.
Follow engineering procedures, manufacturing instructions and quality requirements.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Work closely with teammates to meet production goals.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and quality.
Safely lift, transport and position units throughout the manufacturing process.
