Job summary

Lithionics Battery is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern in Clearwater, FL to gain real lab experience while supporting battery systems development. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, turning theory into practice and helping to build, test, and improve hardware that ships to customers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, with an interest in power electronics and hardware development, and a willingness to learn by doing in a hands-on

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Interest in battery systems, power electronics, or hardware development.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment and learning by doing.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or investigate failures.
• Experience with schematics, wiring, PCBs, or test equipment is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on testing and validation
• Help set up, run, and document lab tests directed by senior engineers
• Participate in hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis (a.k.a. doing "board sleuthing" when things break)
• Be a technical extra set of hands in the lab, supporting engineers during development and testing
• Help oversee and execute tests directed by senior team members
• Learn how real-world electrical designs behave outside of simulations
• Create clear, usable manufacturing documentation
