Job summary

Stasis Drilling Solutions, LLC is seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer to own projects from concept to field deployment for drilling applications. You will design, program, and integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric valve actuation and pressure-control systems, managing hardware selection, PLC/HMI programming, documentation, and field startup.

Successful candidates will lead end-to-end automation efforts, maintain clear schematics and manuals, and provide remote and on-site support

Qualifications

5 years of hands-on automation experience in industrial environments.
Direct experience with hydraulic and pneumatic valve actuation.
Proven project management capability from concept to completion.
Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development; familiar with Modbus, OPC/UA, Ethernet.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and lift 50 lbs; field readiness.

Responsibilities

Own automation projects from start to finish, including scoping and field startup.
Design and integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric valve actuation systems.
Develop control architectures, PLC logic, HMI screens, and industrial comms.
Produce revision-controlled schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting and commissioning support.
