Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling seeks a hands-on production coordinator to plan, lay out, assemble, and maintain test equipment and related assemblies by reading blueprints and drawings. You will assist engineers, collect data, and support manufacturing with accurate documentation and efficient processes.

You will guide production teams, develop SOPs, and help implement new processes on custom builds while focusing on on-time delivery and quality. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Certification from a technical or trade school.
• 5+ years of progressive technical production experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to guide and support the production floor.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for defined areas.
• Create OMS for multiple products.
• Implement and improve SOPs under engineering direction.
• Improve floor efficiency via time studies.
• Provide prototype documentation and build support.
• Support production line under engineering guidance.
• Maintain accurate pricing structures to meet policies.
• Develop and track goals with deadlines.
• Provide training plans and conduct training as required.
