Job summary

American Credit Acceptance is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity Technology and Operations to lead a team of security professionals in Spartanburg. The role requires deep hands-on expertise across SOC engineering, Blue/Red Team activities, cloud security, and secure software development lifecycle integration.

You will partner with IT and development teams to design, implement, and operate resilient security controls while guiding strategic security initiatives and risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or information security.
• Minimum of 5 years in IT and minimum 5 years in information security.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior people-management and technical-leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cybersecurity technology and operations team with 2 direct and 10 indirect reports.
• Own and advance SOC engineering capabilities including monitoring, detection, investigation and response.
• Provide security architecture leadership across enterprise domains and partner with IT teams to strengthen CI/CD security.
