Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst focused on AI and firewall security. The role secures AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agents, and third-party AI services while managing the UniFi firewall and site network protections in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

You will contribute to security operations, incident response, and governance, working with IT, engineering, and operations to keep systems resilient and productive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity, network security, or related role.
• Experience implementing AI solutions in a business environment.
• 2+ years administering firewalls and network security, preferably UniFi gateways.

Responsibilities

• AI Security & Governance: review AI tools for security, enforce controls, maintain AI tool inventory.
• Firewall & Network Security: administer UniFi firewall, configure rules, ensure least privilege across sites.
• Security Operations: monitor SIEM/XDR, assist incident response, vulnerability management.
• Governance, Risk & Awareness: maintain policies & provide security training.
• What success looks like in the first year: inventory AI tools, enforce policies, remediate vulnerabilities.
