Connect-Force is seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support PLC and HMI control systems for custom machinery in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and machine-building teams to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize controls during build, test, and commissioning, with limited travel for startup and field activities. This is a high-responsibility, technically focused role.
Qualifications
- Experience as Controls/Automation Engineer with hands-on PLC/HMI work.
- Strong background in machine build, automation, or capital equipment environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems across build, test, and commission phases.
Responsabilités
- Design, develop, and support PLC and HMI control systems for custom machinery.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and integration teams.
- Troubleshoot and debug systems during build, test, and customer acceptance.
- Support machine startup, integration, and commissioning (limited travel).
- Help define controls standards and continuous improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist technical decision-making.
