Job summary

Overland Ready Mixed Concrete, a NEBCO Company, operates in Central Nebraska with multiple plant locations and a focus on quality materials and service. The role oversees plant production control and supervision of plant personnel driving a transit mixer, with duties including maintenance, safety, and batch operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a vocational mechanic diploma, have 3–6 months of related experience, and may drive a concrete truck if qualified.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical diploma required.
• 3–6 months related mechanic experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Previous commercial truck driving experience is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs plant equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Implements Lockout/Tagout policy and ensures compliance.
• Operates computerized control panel to weigh and batch concrete ingredients.
• Drives concrete truck to designated job sites if qualified.
• Performs preventative maintenance and keeps facilities clean.
