Penfield Search Partners Ltd. is partnering with a growing biotech organization to recruit a hands-on Clinical Data Manager/Data Analyst.

You will support multiple programs across therapeutic areas, perform data review and exploratory analysis, and develop custom reports to improve data quality and study execution. The ideal candidate will combine traditional data management with strong data querying and analytical skills, using R/SQL/SAS, and will collaborate with CROs and cross-functional

Qualifications

• BS in a scientific, technical, or clinical discipline.
• Approximately 5–8 years of clinical data management experience in biotech, pharma, or CROs.
• Hands-on experience reviewing and interrogating clinical trial data.
• Experience with R, SQL, SAS, or similar data interrogation/reporting tools.
• Experience with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle, or Veeva).
• Working knowledge of CDISC SDTM/ADaM and downstream data usage.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical data management activities across studies from start-up through database lock.
• Perform hands-on data review and exploratory analysis to identify data trends, inconsistencies, and potential study risks.
• Develop custom reports, listings, and data visualizations to support proactive data cleaning and study oversight.
• Query, analyze, and troubleshoot clinical datasets using R, SQL, SAS, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with CROs and vendors to ensure high-quality, timely data delivery.
• Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Medical, and Safety teams on data review strategies and issue resolution.
• Contribute to DMPs, eCRF design guidelines, edit checks/queries, UAT, data review plans, and cleaning processes.
• Assist with implementation of data standards, reporting enhancements, and process improvements.
